What Is MyFundedFX?
MyFundedFX is a newer entrant to the prop trading industry that has quickly gained attention for its aggressive pricing. Founded in 2022, the firm offers funded accounts ranging from $5,000 to $300,000 with evaluation fees starting as low as $49. They are based in the United States and have processed thousands of payouts since their launch.
The firm positions itself as the most affordable way to get funded, and their pricing backs that claim. Where competitors charge $155+ for a $10K account, MyFundedFX offers the same for under $60. The question is whether the lower price comes with trade-offs in other areas.
Evaluation Process
MyFundedFX offers both one-step and two-step evaluation programs. The one-step challenge requires an 8% profit target with a 5% daily loss limit and 8% overall max loss. The two-step program uses the standard 8%/5% targets with 5% daily and 10% overall drawdown limits. There are no minimum trading day requirements on either program.
One unique feature is the Rapid Challenge, which allows traders to attempt the evaluation multiple times within a subscription period rather than paying per attempt. This can be cost-effective for traders who need several tries to pass.
Pricing & Account Sizes
This is where MyFundedFX truly shines. Their fees are among the lowest in the industry. A $5,000 account starts at $49, a $50,000 account costs $229, and the largest $300,000 account is $1,049. These prices are consistently 20-40% lower than most competitors. The evaluation fee is not refunded, however, which differs from firms like FTMO that refund the fee on the first payout.
Trading Rules & Conditions
MyFundedFX supports forex, indices, metals, and cryptocurrency trading. Leverage is up to 1:100 on forex and 1:50 on indices. The trading platform is MT4 and MT5, with cTrader support added in late 2025. News trading is permitted, though some restrictions apply during high-impact events. Weekend holding is allowed with some conditions.
The drawdown calculation uses a trailing model on some account types, which means the maximum loss level moves up as your account grows in profit. This is a more restrictive approach than the static drawdown used by FTMO, and traders should understand the difference before choosing this firm.
Profit Split & Payouts
The profit split is 80% on all account types, increasing to 85% for traders who demonstrate consistent profitability over time. Payouts are processed bi-weekly (every 14 days) through bank transfer, cryptocurrency, and digital wallets. Most traders report receiving funds within 2-5 business days.
Customer Support
Customer support is available via email and Discord. The Discord community is active and moderated, providing a space for traders to connect. Response times vary, with some traders reporting delays during peak periods. Email support typically responds within 24-48 hours. The lack of live chat is a notable omission compared to larger competitors.
Our Verdict
MyFundedFX is the clear winner on price. If budget is your primary concern, there is no cheaper way to access a funded trading account. The evaluation structure is fair, the rules are reasonable, and payouts have been reliable. However, the firm is still relatively new, and the trailing drawdown on some accounts can catch traders off guard.
Who is MyFundedFX best for? Budget-conscious traders who want the lowest entry cost possible. Traders comfortable with MT4/MT5 who understand trailing drawdown mechanics. Also good for traders who want to manage multiple accounts without a large capital outlay.
